December 1st: Finished Christmas cards to send out! Here is what was included in the letters!
May Your Christmas Be Merry & Bright!
“As we follow the example of the Savior and live as He lived and as He taught that light will burn within us and light the way for others” -President Thomas S. Monson
Caden: Age 9! This boy is growing too fast! He just passed his mom up in foot size! As shocking as that is, we are excited to see how tall he ends up. Caden is still doing year round club basketball and is doing amazing! He is in the highest division for his grade! Cade is an amazing student in school and learns things so easily. Saying he loves to read is an understatement! He has read way more books than both his mom and dad combined! Earlier this year our family got a piano and his mom has been teaching him piano lessons! He has picked up on it so well and loves to learn new songs! Caden loves to go backpacking and fishing with his dad! We are so lucky to have such an amazing big brother for his siblings to look up to!
Catherine: Age 7, will be getting baptized in March! We have been so blessed to have Catherine in our lives! She is so nurturing to her younger siblings…Especially her baby brother Jackson. We call her the baby whisperer or our little mommy! She is going to make a great babysitter someday, she plays with them so well! Man, what would we do without this Angel! Catherine loves soccer! She does it all year round and is getting Way good! Catherine loves school and playing with friends. She is so kind and sweet to everyone. Catherine is also getting into reading, she is especially into Junie B. Jones. Catherine also started piano lessons with her mom and loves to show off her progress to others. We just love how helpful Catherine is to her family and her drive in life to do her best!
McKay: Age 4. This boy is so full of life and spunk! He keeps us on our toes but also laughing along the way! He seriously will say the funniest things! He is a big tease to his older siblings (got it from his dad) and hates to be left out of anything. But with that said he is so sweet and caring too…you can always count on him to sincerely say “I love you”! He also says the best prayers…so thoughtful and non memorized like his older siblings tend to do! He is currently in preschool and Loves it! His teacher has nothing but positive things to say about McKay, she loves having him in her class! He is so smart and remembers things so well! He is always singing songs at home that he learned at school. McKay is in year round tumbling with his two buddies from our neighborhood! He just loves to be busy and playing with friends! He hates it when his older siblings are gone at school and gets so excited when they get home! Our lives would definitely be a lot more dull without McKay! We love him to pieces!
Jackson: Age 18 months. Still our very sweet baby but definitely getting his own personality! He likes to copy what we say all the time! He is very busy and active in moving from one thing to the next! He loves to snuggle but lately only when you are feeding him a bottle! This boy loves food and earlier this year would put Everything in his mouth! In March Jackson swallowed a Button Battery and was rushed up to Primary Children’s Hospital! Unfortunately the button battery got stuck in his esophagus and burned some of his esophagus, resulting in him staying in the hospital for a week until he was able to be off oxygen and the feeding tube. It has been quite the journey to get him back to eating normally again. Since that incident we have had to go in for 2 procedures. The first time was to cut the esophagus and stretch it and the second time to just stretch it! We are hopeful that now we won’t have to do any more procedures but have to constantly be watching him carefully when he eats because he still chokes easily every now and then! Things could have been so much worse and we are just so blessed that we have a healthy happy boy! Jackson is a joy in our lives and definitely loved by everyone! We all love this sweet baby boy and couldn’t imagine life without him!
Amber: Still doing flat lay product photography for LuLu+Roo and for Replabs. She also enjoys pursuing her photography further by doing family and product photography for other customers. She enjoys being able to do this side business from the comforts of her own home while still caring for the needs of her family and home! She loves helping her family experience fun adventures…in February our family went on a trip to Disney World and Universal Studios! She has been very passionate about exercising and can’t wait for the next race, especially with Chris! She ran two half marathons and a couple 5ks earlier this year. She also got to coach Javelin for Herriman High School in the Spring! Amber loves how helpful her kids are to her around the house! Ultimately, she absolutely loves being a wife to Chris and being a mother to her four wonderful kids!
Chris: Earlier this year Chris started a new job working for Rep Labs….and after kids go to bed he goes right back to work on his side businesses House2Home. He ran two half marathons earlier this year! He has been going on a lot of fishing trips with friends and family! His most memorable one was with his dad and brother at Lake Powell!
We have seen the Lord touch our lives in many ways through the trials we have gone through this year! We have learned and have grown so much! We love our Savior and are grateful for His light in our lives!
Love, The Huntington Family

December 24th: Christmas Eve! We let the kids open their present early because that night we were going to go celebrate with Aunt Linda's family. The kids loved their pjs and most of all their slippers! Jackson surprised me with how much he loved them! He never keeps shoes on but he loved having his slippers on and he looked SOO cute with them on! Chris also made the Buche De Noel ahead of time. The party at Linda's house was very enjoyable to see everyone and be together with family! Such a great day!

December 25th: Christmas day! I am bummed that I didn't take a picture that morning all dressed up for church! But we did make it to church on time! Afterwards we came home and opened presents and had aebleskivers. Caden got a piano book, BYU: hat, garbage can, and bobble head, he also got a really cool lego car, Dribble ball, Harry Potter wand game, Lord of The Rings Book series, and a couple coin collection maps! Catherine got my old Horses and Barn, puzzles, electric toothbrush, bracelet kit, nice water bottle, and best of all two kittens!!! Catherine was sooo surprised! The foster mom brought them to us around 11 am that morning dressed up like an elf! Cutest surprise ever for her! McKay got a kid size four wheeler that he absolutely loves, a couple of legos, costco dinosaurs, and byu hat! Jackson got a mini baby size electric four wheeler...he was scared of it at first haha Kids had a wonderful Christmas day! Chris also made us a wonderful Christmas feast!

December 26th: Chris's parents came! Plan to stay 1 week! Within that time they played a lot with the kids and also took them to the trampoline place! We love when they come to visit us!
